By using GharBite you agree to these terms.

About the platform

  • GharBite is a marketplace. Meals are cooked, packed and delivered by independent tiffin partners, not by GharBite.
  • Each tiffin partner is responsible for food quality, hygiene, packaging and holding a valid FSSAI licence or registration.

Orders

  • Prices, platform fee and delivery fee are shown at checkout before you place an order.
  • Same-day orders close at the cut-off time shown on the vendor page and at checkout.
  • You can cancel an order while it is still Pending. Once the tiffin partner accepts it, it can no longer be cancelled from the app.
  • Payment is currently cash or UPI on delivery, paid directly to the tiffin partner.

Subscriptions

  • A subscription gives a fixed number of meals. You can pause, resume, skip a future day or cancel from the Subscriptions page.
  • Skipped meals and days when the tiffin partner is closed are added at the end of the plan.
  • Meals already delivered are not refundable.

Reviews

  • Only customers with a delivered order can review it. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake or unrelated to the order.

Tiffin partners

  • Partners must keep their menu, prices, availability and holiday dates accurate, and serve only food listed on the platform.
  • GharBite charges partners a commission on delivered orders as shown in their account. Partners pay the platform share collected on cash / UPI orders.
  • We may suspend partners for repeated complaints, unsafe food or false information.

Accounts

  • Keep your password safe. We may block accounts used for fraud or abuse.

Liability

  • GharBite is not liable for the food itself; complaints about a meal are first handled with the tiffin partner. Contact us if a problem is not resolved.
